I finally got my hands on an Ever After High Dragon Games Poppy O’Hair doll! This doll is a Walmart exclusive, and I found her on the shelf for $19.84. My local Walmart doesn’t always have the latest and greatest Ever After High dolls, so I had to wait a few weeks for her to show up.
EAH Poppy O’Hair joins her twin sister, Holly, and Raven Queen, Darling Charming, and Apple White as the featured dolls in this Dragon Games line, and I must say, she came out EXQUISITE! At first I thought she might look a little too much like Raven Queen because their color schemes are so similar, but I am pleasantly surprised and happy to be proven wrong.
Here are the things I liked the most about Dragon Games Poppy:
* Her baby dragon, Brushfire! Super cute.
* The chainmail headdress that looks like looping braids, with the poppy in the center of it.
* Her shoulder pauldrons, plus the looping chain collar piece.
* The scissor emblems scattered throughout.
* The translucent purple underskirt with the braid designs.
* Poppy’s edgy lace-up boots done in silver scaling.
Overall, I like how every Poppy O’Hair doll looks consistently like herself…which is not the case with the other dolls (for example, the Sugar Coated Cedar doll looks nothing like her Signature doll self in terms of the faceup). And those large eyes that both Poppy and Holly O’Hair have just make them both so enchantingly gorgeous.
If you were on the fence about whether or not to buy this Dragon Games Poppy O’Hair doll, I urge you to get off the fence and run to your local Walmart and snatch her up. As of when I posted this video, 1/26/16, Dragon Games Poppy was still not available on Walmart.com, so you’ll just have to find her in-store.
