Dungeons & Dragons Online In 2022

Check out Warhammer 40k Inquisitor Martyr Console Ultimate Edition here: Sponsored by Nacon

Dungeons & Dragons Online is a free to play fantasy MMORPG that initially released back in 2006, since then the game had years’ worth of content updates, new dungeons, raids, stories, zones to explore, puzzles and challenges, a somewhat recent addition to DDO a few years ago was its hardcore league, which is basically a permadeath mode where you start fresh and try to progress as far as you can without dying for special rewards, in this video though I’m gonna see what the normal version of the game has to offer, see if anything has changed since my last time playing and see how well it holds up in 2022…

What do you think about Dungeons & Dragons Online in 2022? is the game still a unique enough MMORPG that it’s worth playing? would you like to see a modern take on DDO? let me know your thoughts on this MMO in the comments below!

Dungeons & Dragons Online In 2022

  1. I’d love to make a Druid like poison witch. One of darkness and shadow whose only concern is for that of nature and her gifts. All else be they good or evil would be secondary to me.

  2. Feels a lot like Celtic heroes app game.

  3. Exp system in DDO was pretty innovative to mmorpg's when it came out, i can be wrong but it still unique – because you dont get exp from killing mobs, you get it only from completing quests.

  4. Are the characters of Dnd video game is same as the charactersonthe DnD Mat the magic game???

  5. i like ddo 1 thing most ppl dont know as u level and help the different factions in the game you get money to spend in the store now i have been playing since it went free but bought most of the packs with the free coins by playing the game

  6. Note that there is no “key” for that chest in the cage in Necromancer’s doom.

You must be a rogue/artificer with lock pick skills or a character that can cast the spell knock.

It highlights the fact that is is built around a balanced party.

  7. i tried it out of curiosity, and the pay walls started after first initial island…. you surely forgot to mention this. also there is no eu servers so ppl have to be ready for 100++ ping and lags here and there. was that video sponsored or smething ?

  8. DUNGEONCRAWL will unlock all VIP adventure packs (premium content) for free if entered into the store by April 23, 2023. They also are running a sale where you can buy the old expansions for 99 cents for a limited time as well. Now's the time to get into the game.

  9. Well I thought I was going to check this game out, but after 4 hours of troubleshooting, I am about to call it quits. While trying to create a character, the server keeps kicking me off. I have disabled the firewall, tried low resolution, high resolutions, DX11,10, and 9. I guess the DND gods just do not want me to play this game.

  10. Great cure for insomnia 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  11. I grew up playing RuneScape and I could see myself playing this game. I just found out about it and googled the game and ended up here lol. I found out about it by googling if adamant ore is real😂😂😂😂. It sent me to a 2006 forms of DDO Lmaoo.

  12. I really wish I lived in Harry Potter world too… screw it I’ll take the giant spiders 😂

  13. best mmorpg i've played, its a bit expensive to unlock everything if you dont have time or dont want to farm points as a f2p player

  14. 14:40 I think that the way we'd deal with them is "run", "hide", and "offer up our delicious princesses".

In seriousness, the presence of a large, aggressive, airborne predator would likely drive humans to live in areas with a lot of cover, and they would have avoided large settlements. Actually, I'm pretty sure we would avoid fire and agriculture entirely, since they have such large obvious signs from the air.

  15. Wanted to play it but it crashes every time I try to change the resolution. Quickly ran out of patience.

  16. Anyone know what the guy at 13:21 is wearing to make his appearance completely dark?

  17. vc sabe me dizer como eu posso criar uma conta para joga o jogo

  18. Damn, I can't believe how old looking the game was. I remember playing this when it first came out and had a rogue soloing areas for chests.

  19. Would still play today if more people were playing – your mileage will vary, but I found a solo-play approach is pretty much required for the vast majority of leveling up. Near impossible to find a full party that will kick off for larger or harder content. .

  20. There is currently a code out for a massive amount of free content for DDO. Enter the code DUNGEONCRAWL

  21. I never got into D&D but if they did do something new with it I think I would be all in. Just a quick question how much are people putting in this gam money-wise?

  22. Totally agree to the Spiderpart^^ But dont call Elminster budget Gandalf maaaan!!!

  23. For some reason I downloaded this game (from steam) and my pc just slowed down like 60% performance just was gone… 🙁

  24. You don't look like a person-figure that would provide relevant information about things.

  25. Recently returned to the game and really enjoy it so far. And I don't know if anyone else gets the same feeling from the game, but it is at times almost like some took Morrowind and made it into an MMO. 😀 Not the worst thing.

  26. I played ddo for about 10 years pretty solidly, starting from their closed beta. I would LOVE to see a sequel!

  27. About 10 hours in, and weirdly.. loving it. Clunky with it's own charm. I tried ESO and Neverwinter then I found this and it really hit the spot for an mmorpg adventure. Keen to play it all weekend.

  28. "If lord of the rings Online, Feels Like Lord of the Rings, then Dungeons and Dragons Online, Feels Like Dungeons and Dragons." – Josh Strife Hayes.

  29. you need the lockpick skill and thieve's tools to open doors like on 10:54

  30. Pitty, you missed all the dungeon narrations, which add alot of atmosfere for adventures. Mercenary system too.

  31. Keep in mind that the word Dinosaur didn't exist until 1841 before that they were called dragons.

  32. Everquest 1 and 2 had climbable ladders and walls in 1999/2004

  33. this is actually a very interesting game

  34. The thing that D&D Online misses is that D&D was created for people to play with each other IN PERSON

It just doesn't work as well as a player's imagination

  35. Coming from someone that played when level cap was 10 I watched this game grow for years and let me tell you This game was amazing its first 4 or so years and I would give anything for it to go back to what it was before. Sadly they won’t even do a server update to 3 mega servers instead of the 8 servers they offer now. It was at one point a true non p2w game, you could buy some basic stat upgrades out of the cash shop but nothing crazy and nothing you could buy came close to what you could loot in the game if you got lucky. The group cooperative game play and endless builds you could come up with made this game super unique in its own way because you had to use a little knowledge to get the most out of your build. I could go on about what this game was and what it could be for hours but unfortunately with the current state of the game and the current publishers I don’t think it will ever get the attention it deserves. All I can say Amazon could have picked this up conjoined all the old servers to one and created 3 new “fresh start” servers revamped the cash shop and UI a little and charge a basic 12.99 a month and could have made a nice check simply off the diehard fans not counting the ones that would come back 🤷‍♂️

  36. Played it ages ago, hated it, played it again four years ago, slight improvement, still not worth it, rather just play WoW, not really, both are incredibly dry and lacking. Rather play some other dry and lacking game, Elder Scrolls Online it is

  37. What do you like the most? Neverwinter online or Dungeons and dragons online?

  38. Be a better video without your face blocking the screen, seeing you adds nothing, and does make understanding things harder.

  39. Elminster, Budget Gandalf?!? 😮
    How very dare you, Sir?

  40. Would be cool if they made this game a subscribe-to-pay model. So developers have money always flowing in and more incentive to 1. Make a graphically appealing game and 2. Take out any pay-to-win

I'm sure players would be ok to play if they charged $5/month. This game could pull in millions the first month, folks love it. It already has a cult following

I know I wouldn't mind paying that much to go on DnD adventures with friends and strangers online in a truly open world no pay to win graphically appealing game.
